Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using Savora ("App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent), and that you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

The App is a recipe manager and meal and shopping list planner that allows users to create, organize, and manage recipes, plan meals, and generate shopping lists. Certain features are only available to users with an active subscription.

3. Account Registration

To use the App, you must create an account using one of the following methods:

  • Email and password
  • Apple Sign-In
  • Google Sign-In

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts at our discretion if these Terms are violated.

4. Subscriptions

4.1 Subscription Plans

Access to premium features requires a paid subscription. Details of available plans, pricing, and included features are displayed within the App and on the App Store listing.

4.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are provided for unused time.

4.4 Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, unused portions of the trial period will be forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

4.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. You will be notified of any price changes in advance, and continued use of the App after the change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create within the App, including recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You agree not to upload or share content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes on third-party rights.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our systems
  • Access or attempt to access another user's account
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the App

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to its design, graphics, and code — are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Firebase (Google) — for authentication and data storage
  • Apple Sign-In — for account authentication
  • Google Sign-In — for account authentication
  • Gemini (Google) — for AI-powered features including extracting recipes from images, documents, links, and social media posts

These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. Nutritional information or dietary suggestions, if any, are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical or nutritional advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data or loss of profits.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Morocco.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
